Largest producer of watches in the world, Swatch, plans to build a car that is fueled by oxygen and hydrogen.
Surprising announcement was made by Nick Hayek, chief executive, in an interview with the Sunday newspaper NZZ am Sonntag.
“We already have a prototype with a fuel cell. Liquid hydrogen and oxygen are used as fuel, resulting in a very efficient fuel, “said Hayek.
“We do not know if it profitable to produce this car,” said Hayek. Director Swatch said the board members of Belen, a subsidiary of the Swatch which was designed car, already tested prototype novelty.
Car powered by hydrogen and oxygen is not the first attempt to produce a car Swatch “eco”. In 1997, Swatch has worked with Daimler-Benz to design Smart car, but those of the Swatch eventually abandoned the project, selling shares to Daimler-Benz.

Yep, I’m a little nveorus, wondering what the results will be. Knitting the swatches was fun, since if you do something wrong you haven’t wrecked something that took ages to do. So I could try things out more easily. I’m not sure I’d go so far as to call the swatches exciting, mind you, but thanks for saying they are!
I would be interested in setting up dealerships across america, on the cheap. with temporary showplaces, from popular street corner, to popular street corner, leaving behind a franchised dealer, at no other car showroom.
